STUDIOS ANNOUNCE PLAYABLE DEMO FOR KOHAN
II: KINGS OF WAR
Demo to Showcase Random Map Generator
for Multiplayer Gameplay and Single
Player Campaign Mission
New York - September 16, 2004 - Global
Star Software, a publishing label of
Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc.,
and TimeGate Studios are pleased to
announce plans to release a playable
demo of Kohan II: Kings of War next
week. The demo, which will contain both
single and multiplayer content, will
debut on FilePlanet on Monday, September
21st. It will be made available to other
online download sites on Wednesday,
September 23rd, the same day the game
appears on store shelves nationwide.
The demo will feature a tutorial and
one single player campaign mission,
as well as a limited version of the
powerful random map generator in Kohan
II: Kings of War, allowing gamers to
try out three of the game's playable
races in head-to-head online multiplayer
for up to four players. The retail version
of the game will feature a total of
six playable races, contain 25 single
player missions and allow for multiplayer
battles for up to eight players.
Kohan II: Kings of War for PC-CD-ROM
is rated T for teen and will be released
on Wednesday, September 23rd for a suggested
retail price of $39.99. For more information

Thumb Bandits will
be giving this title a full review in
the near future. For now however
we will say that this is looking like
something really special for strategy
fans, the shift from 2D to 3D makes
the game look cinematic, truly beautiful.
Kohan fans of old need not worry either
since the game interface, although tweaked
slightly still allows the game to feel
like a Kohan title.
