Pac-Man
has just turned twenty five years old!
Mrs. Pac baked a cake to celebrate,
but before Pac-Man could enjoy the cake,
he is whisked away by Orson, who was
once Pac-Man's enemy, but is now his
friend. Orson needs his help: an evil
scientist named Erwin has been using
taking energy from the Spectral Realm
to power robots in order to cause mayhem
in Pac-Land. The two worlds are now
at risk of being destroyed, so it's
up to Pac-Man to save the day.

In the
game, you guide Pac-Man through various
places, running, jumping, and gobbling
up pellets, fruit, trophies, and lots
of other things. There are lots of monsters
to fight, from robots to ghosts. Pac-Man
is able to use lots of attacks, from
the 'butt bounce' where he jumps and
stomps on enemies using his bottom to
the 'rev roll' where he's like Sonic
the Hedgehog and goes tearing into enemies
at top rolling speed.
The
controls are pretty easy, but you may
find yourself getting upset at the awful
camera control when you've jumped into
lava, slid right into lasers, or fallen
off a platform way too much.

While
the gameplay may be fun at first, Pac-Man
World 3 soon gets quite boring, as though
you're going through the same thing
over and over again. The graphics and
sound in the game aren't very good,
and while the voices for each character
are quite nice, they become annoying
very soon. The camera makes the game
a lot less fun.
