Tom Clancy's
Rainbow Six 3
When a group of seemingly unrelated terror attacks occur across the globe it's the job of
you and your team to head in and neutralize the situation. When first loading this title you
can't help but notice just how good the graphics are and the sound effects also reflect this
same attention to detail. With the addition of Xbox live R63 truly comes into its own. Despite slight
issues of random lagging the atmostphere when playing on Live is electric and can really put you in
the midst of the action. The Enviroments are believable with some stunning visual effects. As tactical action
titles go you'd be hard pressed to beat this title at present. How does Ghost Recon measure up in comparison?

Tom Clancy's
Ghost Recon
Take command of "The Ghosts," an elite
squad of military personnel equipped with the cutting edge in
weaponry. Whenever there is military conflict, the Ghosts are
the first on the ground. Ok so you get the point and it sounds strikingly familiar to R63 but where do they differ?
Firstly the graphics of Ghost Recon whilst not bad, are just not as good as those found in R63, the draw distance
can at times be a pain and it just doesn't have all the same brilliant visual affects as its High Noon counterpart, but it
isn't all bad news. Where Ghost Recon may actually pip Rainbow Six 3 is in the pick up and play aspect of the game mechanics, though only just,
neither game is 'difficult' as such but one may require a little more time than the other when it comes to planning your moves etc.
Again we can't overlook the Xbox Live Factor, this is where the REAL power of this game lay.

So which one is it.. well in all honesty it is a close one, closer than I really envisioned but the High Noon
shoot out really leaves Ghost Recon in Boothill whilst Rainbow Six 3 reholsters it's six shooter safe in the knowledge that it
is the winner of this our first High Noon showdown.
Graphically speaking it's far superior and whilst its not all about the graphics these two are so close in areas of actual gameplay
that we really have to base it on single factors. BOTH have hours of fun to be had on Xbox Live and it doesn't hurt to own
them both given that they do offer something slightly different from one another.
So the Winner is Rainbow Six 3 by a smidge.
