The Xbox 360 has finally arrived in Europe,
but as with the US release, not everyone
who wanted one has got one, no spell casting
or ancient rituals could change that. Our
man Kropotkin (and indeed the rest of us
360 cult members owners at Thumb
Bandits) feel for those still awaiting delivery
of the white wonder. So for those who have
a hankering for the 'secret knowledge' of
the Xbox 360 (ok ok enough, it's not a secret
and it's not a cult, that sort of talk could
get us into trouble - Ed.) ... *cough* Ok
the 'non secrets' of the white wonder, Kropotkin
(not a culty sounding name at all ahem -
Ed.) has put together a series of very spiffy
and wonderfully narrated epics (Epics? -
Ed.), yes EPIC's to show you, the awaiting

PART 1 OF 3 - THE HARDWARE
This
first video is a guide to the Xbox 360
hardware. We show you all of the ports
on the main console as well as give tips
on ventilation of the console and how
to hook it up to a 5.1 stereo sound system
via optical cable. We also take a look
at the all important controller and the
wireless network adaptor.
This video explains in a non culty fashion
the ins and outs of the machine and ensures
people that the faint green glowing is
nothing at all to do with Cthulhu or any
other evil culty entities! (I give up!

PART 2 OF 3 - THE DASHBOARD
This
second video is a guide to the 'dashboard'
GUI that the Xbox 360 uses as a front
end when you first turn it on. We explain
how the dashboard is closely integrated
to an online environment allowing you
to download demos, trailers and even full
games (for a small fee!). There are also
guides on how to stream music from a Windows
XP based PC and how Friend Lists are managed
in the system.
This video is possibly the most interesting
to you non owners as it features a look
at the blades of wonder. Yes those menu
bits you can bring up at the press of
a pentagrammed style button (It's not
a pentagram, it's a weird Spider like
X - Ed.), ok it's not a pentagram, sheesh
someone got up on the wrong side of Galagriel
this morning.

Now
we get to the nitty gritty! This video
consists of gameplay footage the top selling
Xbox 360 games (according to Chart
Track). No commentary here
mind, we just let the games speak for
themselves.
As the man says, the final part of Kropotkin's
videos of the underworld Xbox
360 feature some gameplay footage all
put together in a montage of mercurial
wonderment.
