show that the consumer wants to watch."

and focusing on the online aspect of the show

Bandits Take on Things....
It will be interesting to see what Livewire
is like given the present state of TV Games
programs in this country. We've got Gamezville
which is okay but only because there's nothing
else on and it's obviously the show they're
having a dig at here with there no gangsta
style presenters. Then there's Gamer TV whose
narrator seems to be a mysogynistic, homophobe
who's also anti gaming in that he spends time
referring to gamers as anoraks, geeks, girlfriendless
etc. We also have Cybernet which is a great
show concentrating on the games but it's generally
on at ridiculous times like 3am and it was
better when it had the female presenter. Finally
there's GamePad which is a good show hosted
by Violet Berlin but the info is usually old
even when it's first aired (then it's repeated
and repeated ad infinitum).
Here's
hoping Livewire avoids all these flaws and
comes up with something new and refreshing.
